Graduate from Medical Academy in Lodz, Poland in 1996 where he obtained his physician diploma. Since 1999, Dr. Embalo practiced as a family doctor in the " Centralmed", medical clinic in Palmela, and ER doctor in a regional hospital of St. Bernardo in Setubal. In Portugal, he completed many additional professional courses and seminars in the field of rheumatology, cardiology, internal medicine, family medicine, among others. Between 2004-2006 he studied at the postgraduate level and was actively involved in medical researchers in the field of clinical pathology at the University of Lisbon – Hospital Garcia da Horta, and under the direction of prof. dr. Humberto Ventura.
In 2007, he relocated to Canada, where he continued his postgraduate studies at Kaplan University. In Canada, he became interested in popular in North America preventive and functional medicine which was widely promoted by the famous American physicians: Dr. Ornish, Dr. Fuhrmann (Dr. Emalo personally attended his lectures in Toronto) and Dr. Hyman. In 2011, he obtained his diploma from the Institute of Holistic Nutrition in Toronto. In Canada, Dr. Embalo was also working with children suffering from psychological disorders and obesity, with Dr. Ewa Antczak, Psychology Clinic, Mississauga, Canada.
After studying and working in Canada, Dr. Embalo continued his medical practice in West Africa and Europe. Dr. Embalo is currently registered and authorized to practice medicine in Portugal, Ireland, and Guinea-Bissau.
Dr. Embalo is multilingual. He fluently speaks Portuguese, Polish, and English. He is also able to communicate in Spanish. In addition to his deep knowledge and many years of experience, his patients value him for his kindness, understanding, and respectful treatment.
